Mission Statement

The Masonic Charity Foundation of New Jersey is a family of fraternity members and friends who, through their genuine love of mankind, are committed to helping others. We firmly believe that due to the Foundation's humanitarian undertakings, the world is indeed a better place.

 

Tax-Exempt Status

The Masonic Charity Foundation of New Jersey is exempt from federal taxation under Section 501(c)(3) of the Internal Revenue Code. As such, charitable contributions made to the Foundation are deductible, subject to the conditions and limitations imposed by law.

 

History

The Masonic Home of New Jersey was established in 1898 to serve both children and adults. In 1944, it was decided to use the Home exclusively for adults. Currently, the Home is licensed by the State of New Jersey and provides 264 long-term care nursing beds, 75 assisted living beds as well as 178 residential beds, for a total capacity of 517 beds.
